Working with Jason Jägel Hand Painted Pullover
This piece of art is painted by our friend Jason Jägel directly on to a Working SKEWed Reversible Denim Pullover.
Jason Jägel is a painter, educator, and commissioned public artist based in San Francisco. His work uses the syntax of comics to conjure fictional worlds where anything can happen at anytime, like everyday life. His work is in many public collections including the Museum of Modern Art, New York, Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
Jason has also produced a wide range of artwork about music, where we first encountered his works. He has produced work for artists such as Madlib, Freddie Gibbs and the cover of one of our favorite albums; MF Doom’s Mm..Food
Working SKEWed is made at Edwin Japan’s Northern Mill under the experimental ‘SKEWed’ label, combining their in-house weaving and sewing expertise with Working’s experimental design approach.
The pullover is entirely wearable, should you wish, although it should not be washed. The single piece artwork will be delivered from the US if ordered from this site. Alternatively if you would prefer delivery from the UK please order from Middle Distance. Please contact us with any questions.
