Type 889 Purl Edge Sailing Mittens

Purl Edge Sailing Mittens are knitted in a plain stitch, then both ends, at the fingers and wrist, are turned back on themselves showing the reverse ‘purl’ stitch, giving body to the mittens and making them particularly comfortable. A thumb hole is opened up into the side, leaving fingers and thumbs free.
